Car/phone, ipad question?

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by Evil ... Thy name is Orville Redenbacher!!, Aug 10, 2012.

  1. Is there a way I can voice GPS directions from my iphone, ipad over my car speakers?
I guess the first question: is there a voice-guided GPS app for an iphone or ipad that's any good?

I have used mapquest that has. Lice directions. Its ok, but I like google maps because you can choose alternate routes. You might want to check out Waze. That has real time traffic information. those are free.

You can also Download Tom-Tom or Garmin for $80 or $90. There is a $60 car adapter you can get that runs your iPhone off a low range Fm station. I haven't gotten one yet, but am seriously thinking about it.
