Is there any significance to the stars beneath the captain's "C" insignia on NFL jerseys? It looks like some have one of the stars in a color.

The colored number of stars is the number of years they have worn the "C"

Stupid, yes, but the NFL's attempt to create some kind of "tradition."

There's nothing like forced tradition. ...

On a different note, what is with the green circle sticker on the back of every quarterback's helmet?

It tells the officials which helmets are equipped with communications systems, since only one is allowed on the field at a time.

I don't believe for one second that Wildcat was actually playing the guitar.

Wildcat? I thought it was an otter.

Whatever the fuck it was, it can't play the guitar.

2:22 and then the FOX a-holes need to get their 2:55 in breaks. Friggin joke. Doc, second verse only!

As for the fourth string quarterback forced to look like an otter or something other than a Wildcat...

Thanks. I never noticed them before this season. But I also don't watch the NFL much.
