Incriminating photos also talk, but your point is largely spot on.

ESPN VP of communications Mike Soltys briefly responds to Canzano when asked for comment by Sports Business Daily.

"His premise was not supported by fact and an insult to the hundreds of people at ESPN who deliver strong journalism every day."

Isn't this the second year of the ESPN BCS deal? Column says it's the first.

Howe Rowe pushing reporter out of way to get post game interview with Hoke
put a nice exclamation point on Canzano's conjecture.

That's the 'rightsholder live postgame in 3...2...1... box-out.'

What does Canzano think about Comcast SportsNet Northwest getting insider access to the Blazers? Does he expect that print reporters should be able to go on the court and talk to a coach when the second quarter is over?

Stitch makes a good point. I haven't read every comment on the thread, but it reminds me of when, for example, Dan Dierdorf says on CBS, "When we spoke to Andy Reid last night, he told us ... " The Philly Inquirer undoubtedly never talks to Andy Reid on Saturday because the only people who do are the network broadcasters. That stinks, but it's reality. Nothing new, really. In this case, Canzano is taking his role as crusader for the people a little too seriously. He generally is very good but also a little high-strung.

    tempest in a teapot.

when canzano went into "sports journalism" he climbed into the teapot.
