Canada's largest newspaper group is for sale.

It owns the National Post, the Victoria Times Colonist, the Vancouver Sun, the Vancouver Province, the Edmonton Journal, the Calgary Herald, the Saskatoon StarPhoenix, the Regina Leader-Post, the Windsor Star, the Ottawa Citizen and the Montreal Gazette.

CanWest also put its broadcasting properties into bankruptcy protection last fall.

Hope this doesn't mean their AP agate service goes away. They've more than paid for themselves with the time we've saved on NFL and particularly MLB agate.
