Whitlock vs. Mariotti?

Boy, that's just a confluence of 15 different kinds of fail.

Is there a way for Skip Bayless to get involved, too? :D

It's a blog. C'mon.
That's the main (but not the only) purpose blogs have always served.
They provide the reader/surfer with real-time info on various topics.
This was sort of a neat approach with Mosley and his blog. There have been better.
I don't like blogs, by the way. But I have several friends who do blogs and poscasts.
It's the newest niche of the biz. I think a lot of eds require writers to produce blogs.
Me, as a consumer, I rarely read them.

More Mariotti goodness, this time from the ongoing feud with the Trib's Rick Morrissey: Tribune is stalking me!
The Bears wear navy blue, orange and white, right? Now that I've written it, a Tribune columnist is sure to claim different team colors -- say, aqua and mauve. I've seen some peculiar things in the media business, but nothing quite like the work in recent weeks of Rick Morrissey.

Realize that I've been stalked by serial e-mailers. And Ditkaphiles. And Hawk Harrelson. Now, I'm being stalked by a Tribster.
For reference: the original Morrissey vs. Mariotti thread from 2006.

9. Am I just old and full of fail, or weren't we all better off when press box pissing matches stayed there and we're not spread all over the Intertubes by award-winning Baylor grads?

Back in Fenian's day, sportswriters settled such disputes like men.

Jay could have done himself a huge favor and admit that Morrissey hates him with a unquenchable passion.

At least Rick wasn't afraid to say it when the feud got started.
