    It IS an interesting discussion indeed.
    I'm with Shot that no one should go through that.
    But, outside the business, this guy isn't known. World leaders, good or bad, are a different level of known.
    I still have a hard time saying anything bad about the freshly dead.

    Cancer sucks. Period. Wouldn't wish it on anyone either. 58 is also too young.

    But some stories remind me of a death my wife covered many years ago. We lived on a waterway and a man living about a mile up the channel took a dip off his dock, as he had done many times before, only to have a shark take a massive bite out of his midsection and kill him. Wife had to write the obligatory shark-death story, and went into it really wanting to tell a good story about a good man instead of the usual "OMG shark death!" story. Once she started reporting she found it would be a very difficult gig. The man was a loan shark.
