Pretty much. Not that progressive people or voices are particularly comfortable with criticism or facts that don’t fit their narratives.

Lol. But the ones on the right are so much more comfortable with all that.

I didn’t say they were. But you’re not on the right. It wouldn’t be a house you could clean up even if you wanted to.

I get the impression much of the progressive media - or any liberal media member under, say, 40 - thinks there’s anything to do but be thankful they’re not awful people, like the awful people.

De-platforming oneself then monetizing the complaint for having done so is the OpEd ouroboros / business model of the right.

There is probably a PH thesis to be written - actually a book or series of books about "cancel culture" and the "marketplace of ideas" in the context of "alternate reality" and the compromising of our social and governmental institutions such as the rule of law, law enforcement, science, journalism, religion, Wall Street, and the political system. Throw in the Internet's role in all of the above.
At least we still have sports. The scoreboard and the standings are what they are.

Yes, noted socialist and avid Bernie Sanders supporter Glenn Greenwald, who made his career as a critic of the Bush administration and is among the loudest voices against American imperialism, has a conservative persecution-complex.

Oh, he definitely has a persecution complex … but it’s directed toward anyone who questions him.

The committee that selected the names included Feinstein on the list because as mayor in 1984 she replaced a vandalized Confederate flag that was part of a long-standing flag display in front of City Hall. When the flag was pulled down a second time, she did not replace it.
