Canadian reporter killed in Afghanistan

    She's the first Canadian reporter killed in Afghanistan. The article is a bit long and smells of navel-gazing, since she was a reporter they delved endlessly into her career progression...but there's something to be learned here for just about everyone. By all accounts, she threw herself into every assignment, never letting a lack of background in an area hold her back.

    That's tough to hear. I interfaced at work for two years (2006-08) with lots of Canadian forces and more than a few north of the border media.
    Condolences to the family of friends of this woman.
