Canadian Olympians to wear seal skin? Boom goes a hobo

    More likely to take them all out to a celebration dinner. This is a beautiful thing. Canada is such an enlightened country.

    Besides that, the Olympic gear is already in production. A redesign is out of the question.

    So in other words, it was a non-starter from the beginning. Yet it got unanimous support from our politicians.

    This was always a non-starter.

    There's no way the COC would ever have agreed to this.

    And no matter what you think of the seal hunt, it would have been entirely inappropriate.

    Why?

    Super Dave Osborne always showed his patriotism by employing safety equipment fashioned from genuine Saskatchewan seal-skin bindings. :)
