Can we (BLEEEEEEEP) stop honoring the military now?

Every time that I'm at Yankee Stadium now and hear "please stand to honor America and the military who are defending our freedom and our way of life... I am struck by the irony of having just spent $1000 for a few tickets, a beer and a hot dog.

It's makes you reflect on "our way of life"

Boom, you used to offer the Official SportsJournalists.com letter of condolence - but we don't do that any more.

Can you pen a draft of the TSA official thank you? The rest of us can contribute/edit etc.

Twenty-two service veterans commit suicide a day.

These people need jobs and a government that will help reintegrate them into society.
Not somebody telling them thank you at a Perkins- largely because it makes that person feel good to do so.

While it's not mutually exclusive, I do get your point. And I confess to wanting to put one of these on my car about 10 years ago, but not having any interest in repeatedly repairing my paint job:

I'm really curious what the original post was before Moddy edited it.

Circus- yes, I remember the bowheads in my high school putting those decals on the sports cars their daddies bought them.

Ya' know, I knew similar guys in high school. But what sticks with me is what they became, not what they were before enlisting. Not hard for me to salute them at all.
