    I just got some news that I've been waiting on for two years.


    I just got an e-mail from the Army's Medical Service Corps, and I have been selected into the Army's Aeromedical Evacuation Officer program.

    I should start flight school sometime around January.

    PUMPED doesn't begin to describe what I'm feeling now.

    Is flight school near home? Because by my count, that should be Mrs. 3bags' eighth month. Would hate for you to miss the final days and the birth.

    Congrats on both chunks of good news this week. You really should go play the ponies or something.

    My brother is a pilot (first Blackhawks, now some kind of jet) and I'm jealous of all the cool places he gets to go - Baghdad notwithstanding.
