    Their NFL coverage is among the best in the nation. If I had to rank the top 10 NFL beat writers both McGinn and Silverstein would definitely be there.

    I seriously doubt Howard can take any credit for that since both writers have been there longer than he has.

    No "doubt" about it. Both have talent and work ethics that have nothing to do with their SE. Or, for that matter, aren't shared by their SE.
