Can Dara Torres have her own thread?

    Nice try.

Really, stay away from the adult table.

    73% might be light.

Just so you know why people are pre-disposed to disagree with you.

Show me where it's wrong, smart guy. Or do you lack evidence in this, too?

Simon and friends weigh Dara Torres and learn she weighs more than a duck, and thus, must be cheating.

Sorry, but I have yet to see a story compelling enough to make me watch the Olympics.

Well, I guess that settles it then.

  11. While distancing myself from Cowbell as much as I possibly can, I find it hard to believe she's not doping.

As I said earlier, it's more her age than anything. It doesn't make sense that she has better times now than she did in her 20s. It's beyond sensical.

As for the, "Test me anytime you want" - it's obvious she and her handlers found a way to beat the test. It's been done before. Just because the testing hasn't caught up with whatever drug she's likely using, doesn't make her clean.

And yes, until she tests positive or admits to it we won't know for sure. But we've been through this circus enough times with enough athletes to be cynical/skeptical.

As posted earlier, I'm with Simon and Write-brained in being, at least, a doubting Thomas about Torres.

Here's hoping we're all wrong, and that that can somehow be proven beyond any shadow of these doubts.

That's being doubted on Slate, though.
