Can anyone remember a movie with a split-screen?

    Three more:
    Pillow Talk (Hudson and Day on the phone)
    Grand Prix (racing scenes, very effective)
    2001 (I think; RIP Arthur C. Clarke)

    Surprised that hadn't been mentioned. To me it's the most well-known split-screen use.

    My memory is a little rusty but....

    I think there were split screen scenes in:

    "The Omega Man" -- Charleston Heston (1968?)
    and
    "Winning" -- Paul Newman (1968/69?)
