I admit that I am not very involved with the inner workings of the AP.

I have a very good friend from college who mentioned that he is looking at a job as a state Sports director for the AP. I won't name the state. Anyways he asked if I had a clue what they pay and I said no. Do any of you have any idea how much that job would pay. Very good and experienced journalist. He understands he will work is arse off.

    Thanks for any information.

Work hard, some relative job security, mid-level pay:

    Thanks Editude.

I just read through about 30 pages and have no clue.

Does anyone have a rough idea?

He'll make about $38,000 per year according to the minimum.
