It's an embarrassing commentary on our society in 2010 that this is seen by many as a "political ISSUE!!!!!" but:

A judge will decide today on whether California's bigoted stone-age legislation . . .errrr . . Proposition 8 is unconstitutional.

    This is big, people!
Whether Kyle Boller gets any more boom-boom the rest of 2010 rides on this decision.

CNN is reporting Prop 8 is overturned.

Very interesting that this ruling comes on the day the GOP is mobilizing to attack the 14th amendment re: citizenship by birth.
Kyle Boller better be wearing his helmet on his next trip home - don't think Carrie's happy right now.

It's about time a place like California got its head on straight again. At least on this particular issue . . .

Can't have Iowa beating The Golden State on a social issue.

Nice quotes from the Governator, especially noteworthy for those who see only the "(R)" next to his name, and judge him based solely on that.

So much for any attention to ongoing state budget problems.

You guys don't seem to realize that your marriages are threatened now.

I live in California. Just told her I decided to become gay now, so I'm leaving her to marry a guy.

I also said to my kids "You guys should be gay now!"

I had a legal writing professor that would take points off of a paper any time she saw a student write about a court's "ruling." The prof always said something along the lines of "courts make decisions, not rulings." I've never been able to tell whether or not she was right or this was just some personal nitpicky thing on her part.
