Cabrera parties with White Sox till 6 a.m.; gets arrested morning before game

    How about a little focus with a huge game coming up that day? I'm not saying he can't be out after the game, but all night? With his opponents for the nexxt day? And walking in drunk and waking up his kid? Childish and irresponsible behavior.

    Let's not forget that the police found his wife looking like she had taken a hit to her mouth. Now maybe that was an accident because she was smacking him. But the police said that both of them were "aggressors," so it sounds like they at least think he hit his wife.

    There was a story floating around that one of All Star Mets did something similar in 1973 Wold Series.

    The Mets could not find the player and got the NYC cops involved. The Police found the guy dunk in a Bronx Hotel

    Our board Met fans might be able to shed more light on story.

    Cabrera issues a statement, including a request that everybody respect his family's privacy. Also, apparently no charges will be filed.
