Did Cabrera shit his pants Friday night, too?

Could you imagine being the officer(s) responding to the call? Likely a middle-aged male or males. Like wtf? It's our star player.

Or what about Dave Dombrowski. What a fun car ride that must have been. And why the hell did he play?!?

I expect Jim Leyland to be drunk at 6 a.m., not the players.

Cabrera is the perfect example with athletes today. They're to caught up in getting "hyphy" in the club and not worrying about what's really at stake. Athletes today are spoiled and need to be brought back to reality. I wonder what would happen if Eric Magini was the Tigers coach?

If you don't drink as much as Cabrera, you won't slur your words. ;)

Yes. All these players going out and chasing after women and drinking -- never happened last century when our athletes were good and wholesome and played for Vince Lombardi and went to church and lived in the community and took the time to sign autographs for the kids.

If Eric Mangini were the Tigers coach they would have a losing record.

And the players would be drunk during the games.

Probably taken a couple of hours after his last drink too.

No mention of how he got home. Wonder if he drove.

What's really at stake? The AL Central title. Nobody's life or death depends on how the Tigers fare.

Athletes today are spoiled and need to be brought back to reality? Yes. Only athletes of the 21st century have been disproportionately rewarded for their feats.

And if Eric Magini was the Tigers' coach, he'd probably be called the manager and his last name would be spelled Mangini.
