Epic fail Miguel. Your team isn't in a pennant race or anything.

Getting picked up from jail by your boss and team GM is a nice touch.

Nice. I saw something on a fantasy baseball news site about Cabrera refusing to comment when reporters noticed a mark on his face. What a complete jackass.

  3. Must be fun to be the reporter who has to go knock on the guy's door to try to talk to him.

Here's hoping the Tigers dropkick his sorry butt out of town in the offseason.

The 0.26% blood alcohol level was nice, too.

And the abrasions on both of their faces! But seriously, the worst part: 0-for-4. :D

That's called trying to hit big-league pitching while still shitfaced from the night before. :D

Miguel Cabrera is no Mickey Mantle.

A.J. Pierzynski is involved here somehow, someway...I am sure of it.

True, but Mantle is No. 6 on Baseball Reference's list of most similar hitters through age 25 for Cabrera. :)

Obviously, he is no Mantle, but Cabrera is a tremendously gifted hitter. Between his issues with conditioning and irresponsible crap like this, I don't know that he has the dedication to ever get the most out of his ability.
