Damn it I've had it. My cable bill just went up $10 bucks. I'm seriously considering going to Satellite. Am I wrong for thinking this way?

No but I pay the same thing for mine. I just like the service better.

With the package I have, I've been told that satellite is cheaper. Plus, I get to keep the equipment.

Doesn't that answer your question then?

No, because I have no desire to own satellite equipment perse. I just want cheap quality TV. I don't thik that's asking too much.

Go with one for two years and then switch to the other when it offers you a sweetheart deal to come back.

    Rinse and repeat.

My Charter cable's been out for more than 24 hours now. It's an area-wide problem. I can't seem to get anyone to respond. Four hours ago I told them they were down to their final hours if they wanted me as customer. All I get is nebulous answers by phone and automated e-mails.
If Charter doesn't care, why should I?
Direct TV has been offering a special deal over the past month for installation, DVR, extra channels and all sorts of stuff, plus a $100 rebate.
    I just ordered Direct TV.
It will be installed tomorrow morning.
Charter can suck the fart out of my ass.
