Yeah, if you ever look around and realize you're in 24, you can pretty much kiss your ass goodbye.

I'm still not over Edgar. :'(

The "C" in "C. Thomas Howell" stands for Cletus.

Looks like Putin, only all covered up for the Siberian winter.

Here's bullhunk Putin for all SJ ladies.

The funny thing about Howell is he was even a joke back when he was a star in the mid 1980s. I think Outsiders was his only hit.

He did have a bit part in "E.T." (as one of the older brother's friends), but in general, you're right.

You're not counting his groundbreaking work as the airplane mechanic on "Wings"?

I wonder who is today's equivalent of C. Thomas Howell?

The guy from Twilight that is on the cover of every magazine? I have no idea if the guy is talented or not because I've never seen anything he's done, so for all I know he could be the next Brando...

I don't know if this qualifies as "today," but any of the four male leads from "American Pie" might be good comps. Who would have thought 10 years later that Sean William Scott (AKA Stiffler) would have had a better career than any of them?

I don't really think that's a valid comparison because C. Thomas Howell was always insanely popular, even though he did next to nothing. My sister used to get 16 Magazine and Tiger Beat and he'd be on the cover almost every other month whether he had a new movie out or not.

I don't think Jason Biggs or any of the other non-Stiflers from American Pie were ever that popular.
