I'm going to be rocking a penguin suit at a future function.
Very few men own tuxedos - thinking about remedying this.
Does anyone have any practical suggestions?
I prefer double-breasted with two buttons.
    No J.C. Penney's.

How many events will you be wearing this to? Is it worth the cost?

I don't want one that's been chafing up against somebody else's nads.
    New one, most preferably.
    Spare no expense.

Joseph A Banks is the way to go but wait till they have one of the frequent 50 % off sales. The signature level is a pretty good quality suit if ypu are not
    wearing weekly.

Better get canvas pants. Much more fart-resilient.

As for color, get classic black. So versatile and shart-friendly.

You must be a germaphobe? Those things are cleaned after every use.
...and you can wear underpants...or longjohns...to stay away from "chafing nads"

I think the quality is worth it. I've got some Brooks buttondowns I've worn for 20 years now and they look almost brand new.

Anyway, for a budget, maybe look at ...

For that price, you get to some customization that really makes it "your" tux.
