Long read on Deadspin about Redskins owner allegedly helping reporters he didn't like get promoted out of newspaper jobs so they couldn't annoy him as much.

Note the SJ reference - I wasn't around here when it happened, was it a big deal here?

How Dan Snyder Helped Get An Enemy Reporter Promoted Right Out Of D.C.

Apologies is this is a DB (is that still a thing?).

It amazes me how sometimes sites like Deadspin can take a 1,000 word story and turn it unsuccesfully into a 10,000 word one.
Webster and Mr. Sunshine like this.

If they wanted to turn it into 10,000 they did succeed.

The quality of the story? Probably better if it were 1,000.

Sad to see the direction things once went.
