We are seeking to fill two beats on the Business news desk: Sports Business and Energy/Utilities. The Sports Business reporter will cover the various business aspects of the three major professional sports franchises in the Tampa Bay area, as well as related businesses and the recreational sports industry. ... Candidates must have demonstrated track record of developing spot news, exclusives, news features and in-depth enterprise. The reporters will have the opportunity to get involved in developing online and broadcast multi-media packages. Preferred candidates must have excellent writing and reporting skills, be strong idea generators, and be highly self-motivated. Seven years daily news experience required.
