Morford's an over-the-top columnist but he's right about one thing from the "all politicians are corrupt" school of thought:

Truth is, it's just far too easy to let the ennui wash over and not give a damn, to lump all politics into a phlegmball of nasty negativity and be done with it, thus entirely disregarding the efficacious issues, the things that truly effect change and affect lives and improve or degrade the health of the planet. Outrage fatigue is simply unacceptable. Intellectual apathy is the refuge of the lazy and the spiritually malnourished. Do not let it happen to you.

And you have to admit, this is pretty funny:

Pat Robertson,......has officially endorsed pro-choice, pro-gay, thrice-married, massively unbalanced moral pit bull Rudy Giuliani for president, which is a bit like a militant vegan endorsing Hot Dog on a Stick for the title of Lord of the Food Court.

80 words to say "Cynicism is not criticism."

    Omit needless words.

I do agree with the sentiment, though.

Zeke, Morford will always use ten words when one will do.

Probably has a lousy fucking backhand, too.

The bar in Georgia must let anyone be an attorney. The piece lacked wit, but the bitterness, ignorance and delusional reasoning were spot on.

I could have sworn it was one of Charlie Daniels' Soapbox columns.

When I read it I thought it was great. Now that I've read all the comments from the crybaby sect, I know it was good.

Bush's farewell speech can't come soon enough. He could have 70 Christian virgins slobbing his knob behind the altar - er, podium - at the Mall on 1/20/09 for all I care. Just. Get. Him. Out.

Should have let them secede . . . rest of the country could have easily gotten Florida back, for future considerations . . .

    Kidding . . . sorta.
