Subpoenas have been issued by the House for Rove and Miers.

I bet if it does happen, we get a lot of "I don't recalls" and "I have no memory of thats" from Karl and the gang.

  3. Me?
I'm for political spectacle, something the equivalent of the last 10 minutes of "Spartacus" would do nicely.
That's because I don't expect to ever get the truth from these bastards.
    Thanks, Tony.

Of course. That why it's important to question them under oath so their lies carry consequences.

And, of course, why W wants no part of it.

  5. I think they'd lie under oath, too.
    I truly do.

I don't think Karl Rove is acquainted with the truth.

Sorry, I don't have a link. It's all over the web, though, and Tony was asked about it at this morning's gaggle.
I think we should all remember that it wasn;t until Fitzgerald waved a subpeona at him that Rove "remembered" the e-mails in the Libby case that kept his fat ass out of a perjury rap in that case. Apparently, Karl needs the clarifying impact of a subpoena to jog his memory. Let's help the poor feller out.

Looks like this is going to be a public relations fight. Who will look worse? Bush for refusing his people to testify under oath because he's scared the truth might come out, or Dems for "overreaching" and making something out of nothing.

There are already Republican senators using the "Bill Clinton fired 93 people...blah, blah, blah" line, even though it's been proven a false comparison. Who's going to blink? Should be fun.
