Burger King doesn't like babies

    Working McD's as a summer job through college was enough motivation to do well when I got back to campus -- I wanted to get that degree so I'd never have to stand over a fry vat or deal with the co-worker of the month who expected me to do two jobs at once (his and mine), so he could yak with his friends.

    The former, I was able to escape. The second, you just replace "co-worker of the month" with "publisher," and we're square.

    But first, you start out by mopping the floor. Then you get promoted to washing lettuce. Then, its' fries. And after a while, you can be assistant manager. And that's where the big bucks come in.
