    I'm sure if SportsJournalists.com were around back in 1981, a lot of posters would have said the same thing about a certain Hall of Fame football coach.

    Even though he was little-known, Joe Gibbs certainly proved his worth to the Washington Redskins. Just because the Bulls didn't get the sexy candidate doesn't mean the pick was a poor one.

    Let's see what Del Negro can do with the Bulls.

    Del Negro is definitely a better option as an unknown coaching commodity than a retread such as Doug Collins.

    Plus, Vinny Del Negro was a beast on NBA Live back in the mid-90s for the Spurs. He was automatic from downtown on that game.

    My thoughts exactly -- I thought this would be a perfect fit for him from the get-go. A defensive guy, not going to put up with shit (same guy as Skiles, who they never should've fired -- ran off -- to begin with). But, who knows, Del Negro could be solid.
