    Awesome! Live by the Bay! :D

    Filmed at Miami's Marine Stadium out on Virginia Key. First facility built specifically for powerboat racing. Last hosted in racing in 1987. Wrecked by Hurricane Andrew, abandoned since. Covered with graffiti now.

    This was back when Buffett was at the top of his game, too.

    (No, I wasn't there. I was 12 years old at the time.)

    I've got this on DVD. But finding it on TV is pure bonus.

    I first saw Buffett around the time this was filmed. Years later, I even sported a small braid with a bead on behind my ear like he did.

    Right about then was the first time I saw him -- him and Fingers, no one else, acoustic in Grand Rapids... Was awesome...

    I became a parrothead because my college roommate -- the hubby of the EE of Seatac-area paper -- became one...
