    Unless I missed something the article ended as abruptly as Buddy's flight. Perhaps that was the idea. Brilliant on writers part if so.

    Helluva story (the reference to "the Rolling Stone" for the magazine aside). I bet it could have gone on twice as long and still been interesting. Heck, you could do another story four times as long about the exploitation of rock 'n' rollers.

    February made me bum out.
    I reached often for my dugout.
    Sometimes, I blame soccer.
    Other times, Big Bopper.

    I can't believe that stupid tour,
    A hell of snow and cow manure.
    Epic fail and that's for sure.
