I hope Billy Crystal plays in the next Rays-Yankees exhibition game.

So much for Girardi saying no carryover.

Bobby Meacham is coaching third for NY? What's he going to do -- wave runners home two at a time?

Nice to see the yankees' double standard applies to minor leaguers as well.

When a Yankee gets hurt, it's ALWAYS dirty play. ALWAYS.

And anyone who didn't see this coming a mile away is blind.

As if I could thnk any less of Girardi.

I can see Girardi blowing a few gaskets this season.

This is the best thing that could have happened to the Rays. Now they know that the Yankees are just a bunch of bushers, not some mythical beast that can't be killed.
Joe Maddon is very happy that this happened.
Not that the Yanks won't beat the Rays 22-5 at least twice this season.

    That's fuckin' bullshit.

The Rays will score at least 8 runs in those games.

I throw this out for poops and giggles:
2007 - Rays vs. Yanks: 8-10, 108 runs, 21-33 vs. rest of AL East
    2006 - 5-13, 74 runs, 26-48 vs rest of AL East

This year, they own the Yanks
    :D

I was at the game today and the thing that struck me was that there were more Rays fans than Yankee fans. It's usually 3-to-1 Yankee fans.
And that Carl Crawford was hitting the ball on a rope.

There's no rivalry. It's a fucking spring training game for Chrissakes.

Now if the benches clear in the first game of the regular season and they have an Yankees type brawl, THEN there'll be a rivalry between the Skankees and the Deviled Eggs.
