    RIP to the guy who took the giant step in delineating baseball's holocaust.

    He also co-wrote Strike Zone with Jim Bouton. Certainly not on par with his signature work, it was still a good book.

    The ninth man is out.
    That was the first I'd heard of his Giants book - I'm guessing it's long since been out of print. Hopefully, the appreciation and tributes that shall be forthcoming will bring it back.

    The Giants book is great. He invented the format before John Feinstein learned to write cursive.
