So you wouldn't like me pointing out your discussion about nuance lacks nuance.

To challenge Gumbel: How are players making $100 million slaves? They make hundreds of times the salaries of low-end white folks. That part makes no sense to me.

Comparing Stern to a plantation owner is not = comparing players to slaves.

    Grasp that for a moment.

Not how I see it. Wasn't every plantation owner back then racist?

Just think about it. Just for a second.

If rules of conduct are imposed by the capitalist pigs/plantation owners beyond the rules necessary to play the game, then the players are oppressed to the point of slavery.

And if the analogy of Stern to Plantation doesn't carry over to players to slaves, then why use the term plantation, why not factory owner? Maybe Gumbel doesn't want to employ the term 'sweatshop' as it may offend those player-slaves, and friends of Bryant, who are taking advantage of child workers in China and the Philipines. Where's the critique of the black millionares making their millions on the backs of real slaves employed by Nike et al.?

    Gumbel is douche-bag without integrity

Gumbel's mindless tirade merely exposes his antisemitism

That's what a good many of the games have been like, recently.
