Pearl is a stud, I could never see the D-I coach on the hoops team I cover do that.

I think the coach I cover was a little miffed when the Bruce Pearl thing was brought up after an interview.

I told him, "Damn, I hope I never see you do that."

I think you could get "University of Tennessee" on that canvas.

I'll go with Rick Majerus on that one.

  5. I think Pearl did what he wanted to accomplish (besides cheering for the Lady Vols)

So far, I've seen the Pearl hearlded on SportsCenter, on Cold Pizza, on Jim Rome's Radio Show, on PTI and in Forde Minutes.

Oh yeah. Pearl's a media whore; there's no question about that.

Would seem to be a fun coach to play for, if you did your job.

Their offense seems to be all 5 race to the three-point line.......first open look.....

    Release

Their defense......after you break the press.......seems to be optional.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

When I first met him, he described it to me as "controlled chaos."

BP was the BC mascot when Tom Davis was the head coach there.

I didn't expect Pearl to do that until I saw it last night. I laughed my ass off and enjoyed it. I was actually expecting him to wear this instead...

It's still drying out from the last time he wore it.

Back in his UWM days, he would just take the jacket off and toss it to the end of the bench.

Look, let's be blunt....Bruce Pearl is the number three guy at that school, behind Phillip Fulmer and Pat Summitt. Anything that gets him attention is a good thing.

I think part of the reason Jeter hasn't really caught on yet in Milwaukee is because he's running the Swing, not Pearl's up-and-down style that so many fans fell in love with.

Combine that with Jeter's lack of flash and a bunch of young players and I guess you see why it's taking him awhile to catch on.
