    Makes you wonder what really makes these athletes tick. We all sit here and call them overprivileged assholes when, stripped down, they're people, too, with problems. Just like the rest of us. RIP.

    My wife is a psychiatry resident at at BCS conference school's university hospital. She says people would be shocked at the number of athletes that that spend time in the psych ward or have to get psych consults in the emergency room. Even more need consistent therapy. It's men and women in a variety of sports, both high-profile and low.

    Wow, that was an overreaction.

    And anyway, I was actually piggybacking off Bubbler's outrage by taking a shot at the reporter and her news organization's lack of taste, not making a joke about the dead guy.
