Broncos media oops?

The media didn't get to question Shanahan about his quarterback situation thanks to the familiar awkward pause in a press conference after a loss.

As a result, no one gets an answer. Is this a media screw-up or did Shanahan just take advantage of the pause to escape?

    From the Denver Post's story:

That's Bobby Knight's favorite trick. He pulled it at the Big 12 tournament when they lost to
Texas this year. He didn't even give an opening statement, and when no one immediately spoke up when they asked for questions, he stood up and walked out, even though several hands shot up as he stood. Whole thing lasted about 15 seconds.

I'm with DyePack on this one.

Don't give Shanahan a chance to leave. Obviously, no one wants 50 questions blurted out at once or queries ruining the end of the answers, but it's not exactly as if he leaves the Broncos' reporters a choice here.

And, if no one wanted to be the one asking "The Plummer Question," than that's an indictment of the media, not of the coach.

Shanahan's a bully and a terribly overrated coach to boot.

What have you won in the last eight years, dick?

They're right on course to meet the Colts in the playoffs and lose 54-20.
