Sounds like Eric Mangini kind of fun ... and we know how well that worked

You wait three years, when you hate him almost as much as Webster Slaughter.

    I DON'T HATE WEBSTAR!

I really hated Reggie Langhorne, and really for no reason. I was a Brian Brennan girl...him and Thane Gash.

I can't help but wonder if Bowlen second-guessed his decision to fire Shanahan as soon as he found out Cowher wasn't interested.

This kid is being set up to fail.

You don't hire a head coach based on what your team's current weakness is (unless you're the Dallas Cowboys). You hire a competent leader who can handle all the shit that comes with being the guy. If he's a good head coach, he'll get the right people in there to fix the defense.

If the kid is smart, his first move should be to bring in a big name DC like Nolan or Williams or Crennel.

It's rumored that Mangini may hire Crennel as defensive coordinator.

No, it's not. That was decided when Mangini was hired. Every story I read said they decided to part ways.

But hey, it was only a week ago.

Well I could have pulled ANY STORY from the hiring. I mean, his talk of who he's bringing along has been pretty well documented.
