The Denver Post is looking for a Denver Broncos beat reporter. This reporter must possess the ability to turn news and enterprise quickly on a highly competitive beat in a sports crazy market. We need an aggressive newshound to fill the No. 2 spot on a two-person team covering the market's No. 1 ongoing sports story.

Please send resume and clips to:

    Scott Monserud
    AME/Sports
    The Denver Post
    101 W. Colfax Ave., Suite 600
    Denver, CO 80202

Big-boy job in a rabid football market. Good luck to those who go after it.

Wow. I'm not surprised they posted it, but they must have a drawer filled with worthy resumes, no?

No, Bill Williamson is making the jump to ESPN.com

Wow... How many NFL guys has ESPN hired in the past year? That's got to be 6-8...

Note, this is the backup job, not the lead.

Williamson was not the backup. Klis wrote the gamers, but it was more of a 1A-1B type deal... I don't think ESPN is hiring too many backups these days...

Note to the next Broncos writer: Ask your postgame press conference questions quickly!

The job ad specifically says this is to fill the No. 2 spot.

My bad... Klis is a great writer and a great guy. I'm guessing he would be a very good guy to work alongside.
