Breaking News: My pick for Coolest Woman in the World

Oh, you don't have to try that damn hard anymore!

 

Remote clicking I came upon Charlie Rose interviewing Catherine Deneuve. She's gotta be 70 or close to it and she still looks very good. Plus, they put her picture on the money in France (she was the model for Marianne, the symbol of the French Republic). Also, when it comes to acting chops, she can't be beat.
They should rerun her Chanel No. 5 ads every Christmas.

 

She was on Craig Ferguson a couple of weeks ago. Very impressive.

Diane Lane is awesome.

The scene in the hallway in Unfaithful is fantastic.

 

As far as coolest women, I'd put Suzy Kolber in there.

Also, Julie Bowen. She seems to have a great sense of humor.

 

Suzy Kolber is a great pull. I'd also add Marisa Tomei, beautiful and seems like she'd be happy to pound a beer at the local bar.

 

Plus she likes short, quarky, bald guys.

If you like Kolber, I'm telling you, watch Sports Nation some time. You'll fall in love with Beadle.

 

Karen Allen.

Had some great roles as the sexy girl-next-door type in Animal House, Raiders of the Lost Ark and (especially) Starman, then basically retired to raise her kids.

First role I'd seen her play in well over a decade was a very memorable Law & Order episode, very much against type, as a daughter of Holocaust survivors who killed a man over some valuable family heirloom that turned out to be fraudulent.

A very underrated actress.
