There's a Circuit City vertical banner ad to the right of this thread. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

    Ha ha.

So does this mean my TV warranty is void?

I feel bad for all the people who are about to be out of work.

But I did need to buy a new TV before the digital switch. Circuit City, here I come.

I feel bad for the people who bought things that are under warranty from Circuit City.

We're in the market for a 32 inch LCD... looks like this is our chance.. however, this news is so bad it both blows and sucks.

I wonder if this will help Best Buy or if this is just another sign that people are going to buy almost all of their electronics online.

Every Best Buy I've ever been in has been packed. I don't think they're worried.

Circuit City just doesn't have the same appeal, for whatever reason.

yeah ... haven't read anything yet, but my laptop has four years left on its super warranty. basically is - was? - covered for anything. could drop it out my window and run over it and they'd fix/replace it. so guessing the thing is worthless now?

The main reason, I think, is that I always felt like I was walking into a pawn shop when I went to Circuit City.
