    Will there ever be a reason to like Hank? I am just not understanding him at all. In fact, I'm struggling to figure out if he is a good person at all.

    Hell, the only unflawed characters seem to be the DEA Uncle and the red headed kid who loved infomercials.

    Since this is a no spoiler zone (and since it's the Season 2 thread, not the more recent season, I'll be fair and keep it that way), the answer is an emphatic yes. Hank gets A LOT better. Not so much in Season 2, but he's featured far more prominently in Season 3 and becomes one of the best characters in the show.
