The MetroDome was a giant piece of crap. They should have imploded it after the Super Bowl was played there.

They imploded the teams that played in it instead.

Any hotel suggestions for near the new park?

There's a Hampton Inn and Doubletree Suites essentially adjacent to the ball park area.

And a Marriott and a Sheraton Suites that's within extended walking distance or a very short drive/ride.

A bit further away, but still within a couple miles of the park is a Hyatt and a Hilton Garden Inn.

Yeah, it was. But as part of a fanbase that had to drive 7-8 hours to get to MSP to watch the Twins for a midweek series, it was nice always knowing the games would be played, which wasn't always the case at Met Stadium.

I thought I heard there were provisions to potentially add a roof to Target Field at some point? Not that it would happen.

But still the answer to a decent trivia question, the only stadium to host a Super Bowl, World Series and Final Four.

Another fun trivia question: The Metrodome is one of only three stadiums to host a Super Bowl and a World Series. What are the other two?

The Murph. Joe Robbie, or whatever the hell it would have been called.

Pretty sure the Wetumpka Bowl was one of them.
