Braff out of "Fletch Won", "Scrubs" to ABC?

Why in the name of all that is holy would he get the role.

Either Jason Lee or Ryan Reynolds would have been perfect.

 

Better than Zach Braff. And I say that as a giant Scrubs fan.

I love the show in spite of him.

 

Zach Braff would have been good, but Lee and Reynolds just have that thing Fletch needs. Reynolds probably more than anyone. He was even funny on Blade: Trinity. Just good comic timing.

 

I still say Andy Samberg would've been a good choice. Facially, he looks like Chevy would've looked as a 25-, 26-year-old. I think he could've pulled off the wisecracking ways, too.

 

JJ is just fuckin' awful ... "Can I borrow your towel? My car just hit a water buffalo ..."

Will Smith? I'm intrigued at the thought of an African-American Fletch. For balance, they should have a white Sammy introducing Fred "The Dorf" Dorfman.

I think Krasinski would be a good choice, too, but I don't know what people have against Josh Jackson. He has some chops.

 

He was on a teen soap opera called "Fifteen" which aired on Nickelodeon, I believe, when I was a youngster.

This is not an accolade, simply an observation. I have literally never seen him in anything else, and everytime I see him on a commercial/preview/talk show, I remember the kid I had a huge crush on.
