    Iverson took a beating because he might weigh 160 pounds and drove to the basket like a dude who weighed 250. He was fearless.

    Some people are just more injury-prone than others. Hard to predict, as the history of draft picks and signings show.

    My take is anyone can have a serious injury. If a guy has 2 or 3 injuries that cost him significant time, that's a red flag to me and I'd think twice about committing major dollars to him.

    Iverson was the most fearless player I've ever seen. He just took a beating game after game.

    In 2003 I went to see Philly play Seattle and Iverson went nuts, I think he dropped 40+ on the Sonics.He just took a beating, no easy baskets in that game.
