Man, I wish I lived close to Vegas. This would be a sweet gig to have.

 

I CAN cover the fight and I do live within earshot of Vegas (250 miles)!
Plus I have 10 years experience covering boxing and several other sports...about 2-3 covering boxing.

Wouldn't you be paying for the privilege of covering the fight if you drove from L.A. and spent money on a hotel? If you stop in Baker to get a gyro, it would be worth it, though.

 

They already found someone to cover the fight on Tuesday.

I was going to ask for a little reimbursement for some things, but doubted he or anyone would've provided any. Worth a try overall, though. And yes, back in the '90s I remember the gyros in Baker were and still are quite delicious.
