It was the last game of Jerry Ujdur's career. :)

I sort of had to look it up. I knew it would be from the '99 series (because Rocker ruled out '96), so I started there. It was pretty easy to narrow down from that point.

Yes... remains tied for the fourth largest lead punted in a loss since 1956

This is a fun game. I say, to make it more interesting, we say that you must have attended the game to post a box score.

My god, that was obscure, Slappy. :D

I watched that one on TV... announcers were stupified how the Twins could blow a 10-run lead in a must-win situation

Nuts to that. I don't like your rules. Besides, nothing interesting has ever happened at any game I've attended.

And, yeah, that was obscure as all hell.

I dunno... punting a 10-run lead to allow the Royals to back into a Division title?

So who gets to post the next one? That was sort of solution by committee.

Hey, BB got it right ... even if he didn't know why. :D

I guess I never really said that you had to get it right off the top of your head. Might be kind of a fun offshoot to make it a B-R scavenger hunt and see who could post a box that nobody can find.

I would rule Deskslave, since the important factor was punting the lead AND knocking the twins out of the division

I'm pretty sure copying and pasting lines from the box into Google will bring it up. Not that I would know that or anything.
