    Congrats! I hope the darling little bundle of joy and his beautiful mother are doing fantastic. (I'd wish for the Dad to be doing well too, but I'd kill him for a can of Fresca, or something like that).

    That's certainly the truth. He's an exceptionally cute baby, even by baby standards. :)

    Thanks for all the good wishes, everyone. It's much appreciated. We're in the middle of the first night at home, and it's going as well as we could have hoped.

    There was a moment earlier, right about the time he turned 48 hours old, when mom was in bed and I was on the couch, with the baby asleep on my chest. Hard to imagine life getting any better than that.
