    Here's the deal.

I go to watch the US World Cup opener with Crass at his local. He gives me directions, has me park behind his dad. I come out two hours later, and both of us have a ticket.

His dad, a lifelong (I guess) Jerseyan (Jerseyite?) parked on the wrong side of the street for streetsweeping. I parked behind him because I was told to, and I've never lived in a city that had illegal parking for cleaning.

    So I'm out 30 bucks.

If you ride the T in Boston make sure you have a nickel to get off or you'll join Charlie

$30 is cheap, IJAG...most towns in Northern NJ are getting $45-50 these days

and yes there is alternate side parking on certain days for street sweeping in many towns

It's $45 in Burbank, Calif., for that shit. Found out the hard way, visiting a friend last year.

I've never lived in a we're-sweeping-now-park-elsewhere town, either. Now I know the sign is serious when it says "12-2 p.m. Wednesdays, street cleaning." Hmm, maybe I shoulda read it the first time. Oh well. Live and learn. :)

Like the final resting place of one Jimmy Hoffa?

Or is it the arena? The racetrack? ;D

Close, but none of the above.
I could tell you, but then someone else would have to kill you.
