I think you're reading way too much into this.

Nobody hates Boston more than I do, but seriously, Boston Strong is harmless. Every major city in America has a similar slogan pointing to some form of civic pride.

Does "I LOVE NY" subconsciously suggest that no one loves any other city? Does "Charm City" (worst nickname ever, by the way) subconsciously suggest that there is no charm anywhere other than Baltimore?

Boston Strong was crafted as a crisis response. Big difference.
I <3 New York commercials were being made as far back as the '70s.

No issues for me with "Boston Strong".

    It's a natural, American reaction.

It's in reaction to an event, and it brought the city together. It's not just, "The Cardinal Way."

The fact that it's Joe Biden saying something stupid probably has something to do with it.

The fact that it's not a good idea to politicize a mainbar covering a tragedy's anniversary probably has something to do with it, too.

I say if you want to address it, write a column about it some time in the next few days.

    Who cares.

If anything, the biggest issue is it rips off the Army slogan.

Well, we could also get into how much robust strength was truly being shown by the authorities, what with two weasels shutting down a major American city for 48 hours.
But Fart's not opening that can of worms.

Boston Strong was also an organic thing, coined by two college kids.

It wasn't the brainchild of some PR team, hired by a legal team, and pitched to the media as a part of a broader narrative.

    'Coinage' would reflect some originality.
The Colts had their own Strong about six months prior.
Why does any slogan have to exist at all? What is the slogan for Moore, Okla.?

No. You aren't. You are bashing the media and violating board policy against political discussion, which pretty much sums up most of your posts. It isn't about curiosity at all.

Sorry to upset you, fart boy, but you really didn't have to inflict a selfie upon us.
