    Yeah, definitely, he is so identified with surf guitar you'd think he was from California. And he'd be on my short list with Roxy Music, Warren Zevon and Little Feat.

    Odd Dick Dale trivia: he plays left-handed, but his guitar is strung right-handed. He's essentially playing it upside-down.
